Okay, so we don't have a narrow boat, let alone one called Zipadee; however, following on from our holiday up to Llangollen last summer on Amadeus, Ben had the wonderful idea that when we get a boat, it should be called Zipadeedoodah - hence Zipadee for short (I don't know how easily you could get the full name on the side of a boat!)
So, currently, we're living in Northumberland, which with two small boys is too far to travel to the canal for weekends (especially given the cost of diesel at present). So, in a couple of years once the housing market improves, we plan to sell up and move somewhere around Cheshire/Shropshire to be able to live our dream of buying a narrowboat.
Unfortunately, school/work etc will prevent us being liveaboards just yet, but at least a floating holiday home will be better than nothing.
